Jason is the Founder, Sole Owner, & CEO of Parrent’s Painting, Inc. Jason is passionate about his people—both employees and customers, committed to the strategic planning and growth of the company, and strongly believes that everyone is inherently responsible for their own personal and professional growth.
Jason studied Accounting at the University of Texas in Arlington in the 1990’s before leaving to start the company. He is an active member of the Owner’s Advisory Council where he regularly shares his professional and personal endeavors with a group of successful business peers who provide their opinions, advice, and support.
Jason lives in Colleyville, TX with his wife Rachel and their Goldendoodle Tanner. Together they have a blended family that includes his son, Dakota, and Rachel’s two daughters, Audrey and Avery. When he is not working on the business, Jason enjoys standing in the ocean, working out, taking long hikes with his son, watching action movies, napping, and spending weekends at the lake.
David brings over 15 years of experience in project management and leadership across underground utility construction, tenant finish-out, municipal, K-12, and new and renovation commercial projects. In his role as COO, he oversees day-to-day operations, streamlines internal workflows, and works directly with department leads to ensure PPI’s standards are being met. David previously held the position of Operations Manager after joining PPI as a Project Manager in 2019.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and sons. As an avid sports fan, he loves rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars. On weekends, he can often be found outdoors, engaging in activities like fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Rich has worked as an Estimator at PPI since 2018. He works with our customers and general contractors to provide an accurate and competitive bid to complete the project and exceed expectations.
Rich holds a degree from the University of Delaware and certificates in blueprint reading & project management software. Before joining PPI, Rich worked for a builder/general contractor in the Philadelphia area as a project manager and estimator. Rich has managed many projects ranging from just a couple thousand dollars to over a million, from the concept and design phases through budgeting to project closeout.
Rich believes attention to detail, following through on commitments, and being accountable makes everything run smoothly. He believes in doing everything the right way, even when that is the more difficult way, refining processes and being a lifelong learner. He recognizes that we are all on the same team, helping to deliver an outstanding finished product to the customer and grow our business in the process.
Rich lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife Eleni and their three children Gianna, Alex, and Penelope. They enjoy spending time together and
being outdoors.
Cody has close to 2 decades worth of paint knowledge and experience, including experience in residential paint projects and heavy industrial blasting and painting. Before coming to PPI, Cody worked at Sherwin Williams for 13 years. He was responsible for managing stores, outside sales, and opened a new store for SW in north Fort Worth. Cody believes in consistency and prompt customer service.
Cody previously studied Criminal Justice t the University of Dubuque. He lives in Arlington, TX with his wife Angela and two daughters, Arianna and Corinne. Cody enjoys home renovations and working in the yard. He also enjoys cooking for his family and always love the excuse to sit by a grill on a Saturday afternoon.
Derric has been at PPI since August 2020 and works with the Estimating and Project Management teams to estimate costs and pre-prep new jobs.
Derric attended the University of the Ozarks to play collegiate soccer. He later received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with Minors in Sociology and Philosophy. Before coming to PPI, Derric worked as an electrician for Intex Electric.
Derric lives in Dallas, TX with his dog, Reus. He enjoys being out in nature, drawing, and spending time with his family.
Dakota received a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas. He previously worked at the UT Health East Texas Olympic Center where he managed day-to-day operations and taught classes.
Dakota lives in Lakewood, CO. He enjoys hiking, camping, fly fishing, and snowboarding and is currently training for the Eco Challenge 2023. He loves roughing it in the outdoors, but also has a special spot in his heart for online gaming and pepperoni pizza.
David started as a Project Manager with PPI in 2019. He has over eight years of experience in project management and leadership with Utility, Multi-Dwelling, and Commercial Tennant Improvement contractors.
David’s responsibilities at PPI include managing budgets, ordering and managing materials, performing tasks as a cost estimator, and working with customer’s project management teams from the beginning to the end of a project. By managing and mitigating risks, he ensures our projects are completed on time while delivering our highest quality of finishes.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his son and loved ones at sporting events, concerts, and traveling or vacationing. He also enjoys fishing, golfing, and anything outdoors.
Candice is now thriving in her new role as she assists the Project Manager with procurement pertaining to each individual project. She strongly believes that the right attitude and work ethic will build great relationships.
Candice currently holds an associate degree and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. She likes to spend time with her loved ones when she is not at work
Alfredo is a Superintendent who has been at PPI since 2018. He works with the field and office teams to implement and showcase the quality of work at PPI.
Before coming to PPI, Alfredo worked for Naylor Commercial on the American Airlines Center, Cisco, the Perot Museum of Science, UTD, the Gaylord Texan, the George Bush Library, Parkland, and the State Farm projects, just to name a few.
Alfredo loves what he does and is very proud of his accomplishments, especially since he started out in the industry as a helper when he was only 18 years old and has now climbed the ranks to be a superintendent. He is known in the industry for his hard-working attitude and how great he gets along with his clients and coworkers.
Alfredo lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Ana Luisa and his children Alfredo, Cesar and Estephanie.
Before coming to PPI, Felipe worked as both a superintendent and a foreman to make sure jobs were completed in a timely and professional manner, always stepping in to help whenever it was needed.
Felipe believes that making the customers happy will help the company to grow. He believes that if everyone works together, we can be very successful and accomplish many things.
Felipe lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Adriana and their four daughters: Celeste, Nathaly, Clarissa, and Camila. When he is not at work, Felipe is spending time with his family.
Coty Maki joined PPI as a Superintendent in August 2020. He works with project managers and field personnel to ensure the job gets done on time and within the budget parameters.
Before coming to PPI, Coty worked with a local general contractor as a superintendent doing tenant finish out projects. He previously worked for a drywall contractor in the D/FW area.
Coty lives in Sanger, TX with his wife Samantha and their two boys, Chance and Cameron. Coty likes to hunt, fish, and golf and he also enjoys being with his family in his spare time.
Bob Phipps has been with PPI since 2017. He was hired as a Superintendent and now works alongside the office staff, superintendents, and field personnel to help keep the field running smoothly as our Warehouse Manager.
Before coming to PPI, Bob worked for Flywheel Sports as a Facility Manager over their D/FW locations. He was responsible for maintaining all in-house equipment and building maintenance. Bob has a vast level of knowledge and skill in various trades he has gained throughout his life and career.
Bob lives in McKinney, TX with his wife Denise and their pup. In his free time, he enjoys being on the water with family and friends—frequently fishing the lakes and coastlines. He also enjoys searching for rare aquarium fish and refurbishing aquariums and cars.
Before coming to PPI, Darci worked as both a Special Education teacher at a Charter School in Garland, TX and as a Special Education Assistant at a middle school in Plano, TX.
Darci holds a BA in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University. She hopes to finish the last few classes for her master’s degree by the end of 2022.
Darci lives in Garland, TX with her husband Scot, who is a Dallas Police Officer, and their two dogs and two cats. She enjoys crafting, traveling, and watching home renovation shows and documentaries.
Rachel has worked at PPI since 2018. She works internally to ensure that our employees are seen and heard and feel valued by coordinating company meetings and meals, quarterly team building events, bi-annual employee appreciation events, and managing the field incentive program. She works externally to make sure our customers are taken care of by coordinating customer appreciation initiatives and events. She is also responsible for the Pre-Qualification process with both potential and existing customers. She also heads up all the company’s charitable endeavors and initiatives.
Rachel received an MBA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Dallas and a BA in English with a Technical Writing endorsement from the University of North Texas. She is the Secretary/Treasurer & Executive Director of the PCA Texas DFW Council and the CHHS President of the GCISD Swim & Dive Booster Club.
Rachel lives in Colleyville, TX with her husband, Jason, and their Goldendoodle, Tanner. Together they have a blended family that includes her two daughters, Audrey and Avery, and Jason’s son, Dakota. She enjoys working out, baking, paddle boarding, Italian red wine, praying for the business, and putting her toes in the sand as often as possible.
